This cup is made with slabs of clay that were decorated with slips. It has a foot made with a hollow extrusion. It is a dark stoneware clay. it is fired in the soda chamber of the wood kiln giving it a nice sheen. It has some beautiful ash dripping down one side and some bright blue markings that are also dripping.
