These cups are made with slabs of clay - in two parts. The round bottoms have 3 divots to keep them from rolling off the table. They are fired in the soda chamber of the wood kiln leaving some beautiful orange flashing and dimpled areas. The yellow satin glaze is really smooth to the touch.
